A forest ruled by fear. A girl who believes kindness can win.
When curious Kaida meets the dragon Lightning, she stumbles into a rebellion against the wizard who has been bullying dragons and beasts alike. As more dragons and woodland animals rally to help, Kaida must find the courage to lead the rebellion, outthink an army of dragons, and face the wizard himself. Together, they learn that true strength isn’t roaring the loudest and what it means to be a Guardian of the Forest.
