The Imposter - Murder Hides in Plain Sight, So Does She

Alex never expected her post-FBI life to involve barcode scanners and retail strategy meetings, but working for POSS—Point of Sale Strategies—was supposed to be quiet. Normal. Safe.

That illusion shatters when Pinky Fingers Morales, mid-level thug with a taste for loud shirts and louder crimes, turns up dead… minus his trademark digits.

Worse, all signs point to Paul, Alex's smug co-worker with suspicious access to sensitive files—and even more suspicious ties to the infamous Giodorno gang. Toss in Ronnie, Alex's maddeningly charming ex-boyfriend with a murky agenda and a habit of showing up when bullets fly, and Alex finds herself in a tangled mess of secrets, betrayal, and criminal ambition.

Was Ronnie trying to take over the Giodorno operation? Did he put Paul up to murder? Or is there an even bigger play behind the curtain?

Armed with a sharp mind and a dry wit, Alex dives into a dangerous game of cat and mouse to expose the imposter before she becomes the next target.

The Imposter blends high-stakes crime with snarky charm in a mystery where everyone's got secrets—and nobody's who they claim to be. Clean, hard-boiled, short cozy mystery.
