A Discovery of Hexes

I'm pregnant. Yep, you heard that right. Pregnant. And while I'm trying really hard not to freak out about that, Hollow Cove is busy preparing for its Headless Horseman reenactment-a big deal around here, apparently. But just as the town is gearing up for spooky fun, events take a real-life terrifying twist. A body is discovered, and carved into it are the words: "Give it back."

Before I can even fully process the fact that I've got a tiny, magic-wielding bun in the oven, more bodies start showing up-the kind with creepy messages and a very dead vibe. Suddenly, Hollow Cove feels less like home and more like the set of a horror flick.

My aunts, badass witches that they are, seem to know more than they're letting on, and the pressure's on to figure out who-or what-is behind the murders before the whole town goes into full-on panic mode. Oh, and did I mention my powers are acting up at the worst possible times? Perfect timing, as always.

It's a race against the clock to stop the killer, keep my baby safe, and maybe, just maybe, survive long enough to figure out how the hell I'm supposed to be a mom. Because in Hollow Cove, the monsters don't wait-and neither does murder.
