"La Pipa de Kif" is an original and amusing collection of poems by Ramón María del Valle-Inclán, an author best known for his narrative and theater, but who also cultivated poetry throughout his life. With strong rhymes and a very personal vocabulary, halfway between the street and the traditional world that inhabits his memory, Valle-Inclán resorts to humor and social criticism in a work that is a true approach to the poetic esperpento. The simple people, the spaces they inhabit, and the stories they share are at the heart of the author's poetic gaze, giving rise to a highly personal work that can only be signed by a genius like Valle-Inclán, and which deserves greater attention.
