Summer of Fortune

Maddie's too busy for romance,

and as a single mom has been too busy trying to make ends meet to jump start her languishing photography career.

But when her daughter decides to spend the summer with her father, Maddie accepts the offer of her first solo art show, leaves Seattle and the safety of her job, rents a quaint cottage on a lake in the mountains of Washington State's Olympic Peninsula and gets to work.

She has a short timeline to prepare for her show, and her landlord Jake Murphy, a single dad himself, proves to be quite a distraction. Maddie's traumatic childhood has left her a loner, but now that success and happiness beckon, she's unsure. Should she should take the chance? Or will it all blow up in her face when the people of Fortune Bay discover who she really is?
