Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There

This is a SoundCraft Audiobook production - enhanced with music and sound effects - of Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking-Glass," the follow-up story to his classic children's tale "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." It is no exaggeration to say that, over the years, "Looking Glass" has become just as popular and beloved as Carroll's first book. When the original story became a publishing sensation in 1865, renowned for Carroll's imaginative characters, creative and incisive use of language and keen wit, Carroll set to work on the sequel and the result is a wild, sometimes dark ride through the mind of a child. It tells the tale of Alice, a young girl who steps through a mirror and enters a world of fairy tale characters, talking chess pieces and anthropomorphic flowers and insects. Long hailed as one of the greatest children's books of all time, "Through the Looking Glass" is presented here in it's original, uncut and unabridged format and features a biography of the author.
