A Summary of Getting Things Done

Getting Things Done is David Allen's framework for keeping track of and organizing your projects and tasks. But it's no run-of-the-mill to-do list. Its purpose is to give you a system that you can trust completely and that will gather your ideas, projects, and to-do's in a way that is thorough, actionable, and uncomplicated. One of the best things about GTD is that it operates under a broad assumption that its users' mental energy is at a premium. In other words, the system does not require a ton of thought and reflection to be used effectively. In the spirit of preserving brain power, it allows you to track what you need to do without dedicating more of your precious focus than is completely necessary. The BookSuma summary of David Allen's Getting Things Done brings you the main takeaways from the book in less than half an hour!
