The Reliance

Not only has she succeeded in writing a sequel that is even better (if possible) than the first in the series (a rarity in my experience) this time she threw a lady pirate into the mix! Hungry Hearts Book Reviews

Blaming God for his wife's apparent death, Captain Edmund Merrick sails away to drown his sorrows, only to find himself trapped in the dark world of a demented French pirate, Collier. When he finally wakes from his rum-induced pity party, Merrick must find a way to escape the vile man's clutches with his life and go in search of his mutinous crew who stole his ship. Then maybe he can pull his life back from the ashes.

Kidnapped by her arch-enemy Captain Kent Carlton, Charlisse must not only face abandonment by her husband, but she must find a way of escape for both her and Lady Ashton. When word reaches her that her husband has returned to piracy and other women, Charlisse becomes the captain of his old pirate crew and goes in search of him to teach him a lesson he won't soon forget!

Two thumbs-up, five stars, ten yo-ho-ho's and a bottle of rum for Tyndall's masterpiece, The Reliance! Michelle Griep, Novel Reviews
