The Saline Moon

An enthusiastically planned adventurous trip to an eco-tourism spot in order to make the experience of watching a lunar eclipse memorable for Sonia and Aadarsh, a young married couple turns out to be life-changing for Sonia. The tourist resort borders an endangered village, a land progressively submerged by the saline water of the roaring sea. As global climate change becomes 'real' for Sonia she grows from casual curiosity to empathetic involvement and eventually fuses her soul with a victim of the catastrophe to emerge as a changed person herself. Sisterhood, ecology, catastrophe, and life amidst death collapse in this story.
