This film could pave the way to fame and fortune… or his funeral.
Down-and-out filmmaker Jasper Tripp is determined to make a Hollywood comeback. After a series of cinematic failures, he’s confident his upcoming real-life crime documentary will be an all-access pass to old glory. Despite struggling to capture the candid shots he needs, putting a few criminals on the payroll should solve all his problems…
While filming a bank robbery he may or may not have orchestrated, he quickly discovers why so few directors typecast known crooks. Kidnapped and desperate to finish his production in one piece, he fears he’s created a mess that no amount of editing can fix in post.
Can Jasper sweet-talk his way out of a tight spot, or will his deranged crew script a fatal final act?
Genuinely Dangerous is an edge-of-your-seat crime caper. If you like violent noir fiction, deeply flawed characters, and pitch-black humor, then you’ll love Mike McCrary’s page-turning tale.
