    Good mystery

    This is the first mystery featuring Agatha Christie’s beloved detective, Hercule Poirot. As always with Ms. Christie, the mystery is intriguing and has a clever solution. There are false leads and misdirections aplenty. Hugh Fraser’s narration is fantastic. His voice held my attention, and he does a great job with all of the accents and voices need to make this a top-notch production. I admit there were a couple times I lost track of the various relationships between all the characters, but in the end it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the novel, and I was fascinated at the end during Poirot’s reveal. Poirot, like Sherlock Holmes and Louise Penny’s Inspector Armand Gamache, is definitely on my list of all-time favorite detectives.
