Just as lovable and quirky as always...
I'm usually a fan of Ellen's goofy humor, but think I enjoy her more in person/on tv than in book form. The writing was disjointed and even pointless at times....and a maybe a little preachy at others with her (admittedly common sense heavy) advice and complaints - I didn't like this as much as I'd hoped to. Her narration was fun and well delivered - positive, dry, silly and honest as Ellen always is - but I just couldn't get into the fragmented chapters. This may still appeal to die-hard lovers of her style, but for the casual fan it may be one to skip in favor of her other books.
