How did I become the hot hockey player's nanny? I'm glad you asked. It started with a catsuit and a debt I could never pay off. My dad stole money from lots of athletes, and I've spent years trying to make things right. There's only one last name on the list. Hockey legend Liam Locke—who hates me. Years ago, we shared a passionate night that he believes was all part of the plan to trick him. It wasn't. I fell hard for Liam that night. Truth—I'm still falling. When a little girl unexpectedly enters his life, he makes me an offer I can't refuse. Become his live-in nanny and he'll wipe out the debt. Tess is the sweetest, funniest little girl, so how can I say no? Soon, the three of us are on vacation together, and I don't feel like the nanny. I feel like family. And the heat between Liam and me could melt ice. When he finds out the secrets I've been keeping, the gloves come off, and what started as a way to fix the past begins to feel like a future I never thought I'd have.
