"Once upon a time, when the land was young and life was new, the desert wasn't. Water ran from the Three Brothers' peaks down to the sea, wild and nourishing. The animals were happy, and most important of all, the Great Kobold was happy. Until the rain stopped."

Chicken loves his Auntie's fables and has always wanted to inspire stories of his own. Now he might get the chance.

When the orc tribes combine their might, they form an empire spanning the steppelands and threatening Chicken's people. Now, fate has brought him and others together under a prophecy. Together they will save the world from a burgeoning threat. At least, if the interpretation can be trusted.

Will Chicken be able to leave his mark on history? What will come of his people if the empire can't be stopped? What role will he and his new friends play in the decree of fate?

If they can be true to themselves, they'll do more than stop an empire.
