The Stormtender's Call

When meteorologist Marilee Jenkins loses her job, her marriage, and her footing all in the same week, she does the only sensible thing left: follows a black cat, a broken compass, and a trunkful of mysteries to an island she barely remembers.

Breakwater Isle isn't what she expected. The locals know things they shouldn't. An ancient, magnificently cranky woman seems to have been waiting for Marilee specifically.

The more she learns about the island's history, and her own, the less certain she is about everything she thought she knew.

But the storms here feel different. Almost familiar. Almost like they're waiting for something.
