Misery Speaks Loud shares some of my life events, in hopes to bring more awareness to mental health. Depression is very real. Though adults have become masters at masking their depression, the children are not so great at hiding it. We need to pay attention to our children; we need to listen to our children. Children are the product of their environment. We should not be doing things in front of our children, that we do not want them to imitate. Unhealthy (Toxic) relationships, yelling, cursing and anything else that can bring disruption to a child's peace. Children will begin to act out what they see, no matter what you tell them.
Once a child begins to act out, it is important that we as parents talk to them (not at them). We need to listen. We also need to get them counseling when necessary. I pray that this book will help someone (a child, a parent and/or a parent to be).
