The Jungle Doctors Promise

In 1918 Liberia, Doctor Mary O'Hara arrives at a remote mission station determined to use her medical training where it is needed most. After serving through the horrors of the Great War, she is no stranger to blood, fear, and loss. But the African interior brings dangers she has never faced before.

Pastor William Mayweather has already buried one beloved wife in the jungle, and he has vowed never again to be responsible for a woman's death in the mission field. When Mary arrives with orders to establish an infirmary at Nynabo, William sees only risk. Mary sees a calling.

Forced to travel together through hostile terrain, disease, suspicion, and grief, William and Mary clash over duty, faith, and what it truly means to trust God. Yet beneath their arguments grows a bond neither of them expected, a love tested by sacrifice, danger, and the promise of grace.
