A year ago, junior architect Clara Bennett died on the rain-slicked asphalt of Interstate 95. For exactly two minutes, her heart stopped beating. The paramedics brought her back, but they accidentally left the door to the afterlife open. Now, Clara possesses the sight. She sees the lingering dead wandering the world, carrying the suffocating emotional weight of their final moments. To survive, Clara lives by one absolute, golden rule: never let them know you can see them. If you make eye contact, they will never let you go. Seeking a fresh start, Clara moves into unit 4C of the Kensington Arms, a Victorian apartment building filled with flickering shadows and freezing drafts. Despite a warm welcome from the charming building manager, Benjamin, Clara quickly realizes her new home is harboring unseen residents. Can she keep her terrifying secret hidden, or will the shadows finally catch her looking?
