Tales of Sleep and Waking

In the fog-drenched town of Foghaven, stories don't end—they linger.

When Vespera Lockwood takes a night librarian job at the mysterious Blackwood Library, she's searching for silence… a place to escape the guilt of surviving the accident that killed her sister. But the library is no sanctuary.

It is alive.

Within its shadowed halls, forgotten books whisper, footsteps echo where no one walks, and something unseen feeds on unfinished stories—on grief, on fear… on her.

As Vespera descends deeper into the forbidden Annex, she discovers a terrifying truth: the library doesn't just contain stories—it consumes them. And now, it has chosen her as its next chapter.

Haunted by visions, hunted by echoes of the dead, and forced to confront the trauma she cannot escape, Vespera must uncover the origin of the entity before it devours what remains of her mind.

But some stories demand a price.

And some endings erase everything that came before.

TALES OF SLEEP AND WAKING is a haunting psychological horror novel blending dark academia, supernatural suspense, and emotional trauma into a chilling exploration of memory, guilt, and the stories that refuse to die.
