The destruction of the city of Jerusalem is perhaps the biggest most obvious thing that gives credibility to both God's existence, and the origins of Christianity. Within scripture the references to it are clearly present, and yet for many believers not overt. George Peter Holford in his nineteenth century work, makes it clear that God was very involved int he process of bringing about the birth of Christianity.
