In the sixteenth century hundreds of residents of Strasbourg in Alsace (now France) danced uncontrollably for days on end, many dropping dead from their exertions.

Nearly four hundred years later “the dancing plague” has returned, this time afflicting the residents of an idyllic Cape Cod town.

For twelve-year-old Ben Graves and his two friends, the inexplicable dancing mania is only the beginning of the horror to come.

Publisher’s note: While The Dancing Plague can be enjoyed as a standalone novel, it is intended as a two-part story. This is Book 1, set in 1988, and follows the lives of three 12-year-old children. Book 2 picks up in the present day, continuing the story from the perspectives of the same three individuals, now middle-aged adults.

The dance has begun … will you survive the rhythm of terror?

“Those who enjoy Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and other masters of supernatural suspense will relish The Dancing Plague’s ability to move through time, relationships, and intrigue to question the roots of mass hysteria and paranormal experiences."—Midwest Book Review
