Operation Grey Space

A mysterious virus. A rebel attack. An approaching hurricane. And an unauthorized rescue that changes everything.

When armed insurgents seize a rural hospital in Haiti, an American medical team is caught in the crosshairs. With her best friend trapped inside and no official rescue coming, twenty-three year old commercial pilot Jacqueline Strong is forced to call the last person she ever wanted to rely on again: her estranged father.

John Vincent Strong, once a decorated Army commander, now a man hiding in self-imposed exile after a mission gone wrong, reluctantly returns to do what no one else will: get the medical team out. To do it, he and Jacqueline must enter the grey space, the zone where the U.S. government can’t intervene and every decision is off the books.

With a mutating virus on the verge of escaping quarantine, they quickly assemble a small, off the grid team: a rehabbed pilot, two former special ops warriors, a south Tampa socialite with a gift for logistics, and a young university researcher who is more than he seems. As bullets fly, a hurricane closes in, and medical ethics collide with black ops necessity, John and Jacqueline realize they aren’t just fighting insurgents, or mother nature, they’re fighting against the walls they’ve built around themselves.
