Academic politics can be vicious.

Edgar, a philosophy professor, was elected chair of the Faculty Senate when the shenanigans began. He saw an opportunity to change the conversation at Angeles Crest University based partly on his ideology but mostly his whims and prejudices. He seduced a student. His wife kicked him out. He broke off the relationship with the student to seduce another young woman, which ended very badly for Edgar.

His enemies list grew to include Talia, who sought to use the power of music to disrupt the hate circuit in peoples brains, Beatriz the composer, Emily who had a strong relationship with Talia (and, of course, Beatriz), Yasmin, who he thought turned on him, Tenzin because she was a different kind of philosopher, and in the end even Alise.

Unnoticed, a snowball effect began, building through accumulating events, becoming larger and more significant, culminating in a calamity.

As for the major consequence of the growing snowball of discontent and deceit t, was it murder?

Whodunnit?
