The Writings of Saint Francis of Assisi

Letters, the Rule, the Canticle of the Sun. Francis of Assisi in his own short store — poverty as joy, creatures as kin, the Gospel walked. A pocket of medieval fire, still warm. Brother Sun, Sister Moon, a rule that strips the order to the skin. These pages are small and they carry a whole poverty. Listen as if the Canticle were still being tried on. Wind and fire addressed as kin; a Rule that strips the order to the skin; letters that still sound spoken on the road. Read in English, unabridged.
