Holly Bough Cottage

Liv didn't want to be alone for Christmas.

But the idea of spending another holiday surrounded by people that felt sorry for her after the divorce was worse. So she booked a two-week stay in the Colorado Rockies, hoping to escape and absorb some holiday cheer.

She wasn't expecting to meet Jonah, the handyman at the Cottages, and she definitely wasn't expecting him to live next door.

Jonah is steady, kind, and exactly the sort of man Liv wants to believe in again. But the more time they spend together, the more she realizes his story doesn't quite add up. And falling for a man with secrets is how she ended up heartbroken the first time.

Liv wants to trust her heart.

She just isn't sure it's learned its lesson.
