The Legend of The Hatchery
How Cotton-Cluckers Came to Be
It began on an unusually crisp autumn morning, amidst the quiet, rhythmic hum of a countryside incubator.
While most people visit a traditional farmyard looking for standard livestock, the founder of Cotton-Cluckers stepped into The Hatchery with a heart open to a different kind of magic.
The air was thick with the scent of clean straw, warm down, and a strange, comforting electricity. Rows upon rows of soft, pulsing incubation pods lined the wooden shelves, glowing with a gentle, cherry-blossom light. But one pod in particular caught the eye. It didn't chirp like ordinary hatchlings. Instead, it gave off a soft, muffled bounce — rhythmic, plump, and full of character.
When the shell finally cracked, it didn't reveal feathers of ordinary flight. Out tumbled a magnificent, two-handed, egg-shaped sensation: a round, cloud-like ball of white faux-fur balanced impossibly on long, floppy black stick-legs, blinking wide, surprised eyes. And right there, nestled around its plump little chest, was a hand-knitted miniature sweater, as if it had been dressed for a chilly morning commute before it even took its first breath.
