Bible character series: Job and His friends in the Bible

Let's learn about the Bible character of Job.

How he is a God-fearing man that God was very pleased with him. In contrast, his three other friends did not demonstrate their understanding of God and their pre-assumption of Job's situation was a poor and harsh judgement on Job.

We will look more into Job - how he walked with the Lord wholeheartedly amid time of troubles and tragedies, his responses after the tragedies happened and how his other three friends responded to him as well.

We learn a great deal about people around us when we are in times of need or trouble. True friends will always be there for us and they will comfort and console us with a good intent, not to condemn or embarrass us. Unlike Job's friends, though they visited Job in his home they do not bring him the comforts he needed. They mocked and laughed at him continuously without proper understanding of God's way.

Let us dive into Job and his friends and may we not act like Job's friends to others.

May we learn how to walk with God regardless of our life circumstances, look to Him and fear Him alone. Amen.
