Fresh off an ambient street gig in Doylestown, California-style minstrels Cloud and Gardenia do what they do best: save the day using pure, relaxed intuition. With one struck note of Cloud's molecular-healing waterphone and a quick flash of Gardenia's reality-bending imagination, they pull a local girl out of the path of a speeding black pickup truck.

But their good deed triggers a massive glitch in the cosmic fabric.

Instead of a high-five, the duo wakes up stranded in the thick, damp fog of Buckingham, Pennsylvania. The year is 1776. The acoustics are completely thrashed, local outlaws are giving their free-form jazz terrible reviews, and their magical powers are experiencing serious technical difficulties. Worst of all? That creepy black truck has followed them through time.

To find a way back home, the minstrels must navigate the upside-down physics of Holicong Road—a legendary gravity hill that forces them backward the faster they run. When the inverted landscape begins weaponizing their own inner doubts into living illusions, Cloud and Gardenia have to face the ultimate test of their slacker philosophy.
