Ghost of Kyiv

Maxim Kruliskova lost his wife and contact with his kids at the massacre of Irpin, in the first week of the Russo-Ukrainian war.

Twenty years later, after having built a life as a successful researcher in the United States, he receives a picture in the mail of someone that looks like his son. The picture is geo-located to Muscovy, a city that fell from grace when the Russian Federation collapsed.

Maxim embarks on a journey through the post-Russian world, where many things changed and many things remained the same after the end of that devastating war. In his journey he reconnects with old friends and discovers that the old enemies are still lurking out there, in the dark.

With every step he takes towards his lost son, he is also taking another step towards a mysterious figure that seems to always be just out of reach - the Ghost of Kyiv.

All author proceeds are donated to Ukrainian charity.
