Blade of Demons

When another ancient is murdered, Lyssandra alone cannot resist Asher's call. Aiding him means going against the Potentate's direct orders, and she won't bring Steifan and Tholdri down with her. But the murder isn't the only problem. Mysterious shadows stalk a nearby village, and ghouls are roaming free. When a villager is killed, Lyssandra and Asher must unravel this new mystery, all while fighting their growing attraction for one another. That attraction becomes Lyssandra's primary issue when she is offered a way out of her partnership with the vampire, but for a price.
