SlumLights

SlumLights is a moving story of friendship, hope, and survival set against the crowded streets of Mumbai. Five inseparable friends find happiness in simple moments, but their childhood innocence is shaken when the youngest among them falls critically ill.

With limited resources and time running out, the children come up with an extraordinary idea: to make a film using a mobile phone and share their story with the world in the hope of saving their friend. Their journey takes them through moments of hope, struggle, fleeting recognition, and heartbreaking loss.

Blending emotional storytelling with social realism, SlumLights explores poverty, friendship, sacrifice, inequality, and the dreams of children growing up in difficult circumstances. It is a poignant coming-of-age story that asks what happens when childhood dreams collide with the harsh realities of survival.
