Description
First published in January 1927 in Weird Tales, The Horror at Red Hook by H. P. Lovecraft is a sinister tale of occult horror set among the shadowed streets and waterfront of Brooklyn.
When Detective Thomas F. Malone becomes involved in the strange case of Robert Suydam, an eccentric recluse whose behaviour has taken an increasingly disturbing turn, he discovers that something far more sinister is taking place beneath the surface of Red Hook.
Strange inscriptions, disappearances, secret rituals, and forbidden occult practices lead Malone toward a terrifying discovery hidden beneath the city's streets.
Blending occult horror, supernatural mystery, dark rituals, urban terror, and forbidden knowledge, Lovecraft's tale descends into a nightmare world where ancient forces may be closer than anyone suspects.
Narrated by horror author Jonathan Dunne.
