Midnight in Montmartre

Under the midnight roofs of Paris, an old stray cat named Jacques knows every chimney, gutter, hidden ledge, and tunnel in Montmartre. He has survived by staying alone, watching humans from above and trusting no one except the city itself. Then he finds Pip, a frightened Beagle who has lost his humans and must reach the Gare du Nord before the morning train leaves. What begins as an unwanted rescue becomes a dangerous night journey through rooftops, metro shadows, territorial animals, station crowds, and the secret geography of Paris. Along the way, Pip discovers courage he never knew he had, while Jacques discovers that loyalty can be more than a burden. It can be the thing that brings an old heart back to life.
