Scare Bear

In the latest middle-school horror from K. R. Alexander, a boy learns that some gifts can never be returned…

Why won't you play with me?

Back when Gideon was in third grade, he received what he thought was a babyish present — a teddy bear that kept telling him it wanted to be his friend. Gideon didn't think too much of it when he threw the bear away.

Now it's three years later — and on Gideon's birthday, he finds a strange package. And inside it's… the same bear. Only now it looks like it's been run over by a truck. And instead of wanting to be friends, it wants… revenge.
