The first part of my plan has been accomplished: I managed to create my own house. I was no longer just a commoner from a distant kingdom, but a full-fledged citizen of the Empire, head of House Greymore. And as the head of a house, I had new responsibilities. I must protect the Empire from threats, both external and internal.

I suppose it made sense to start with the Cursed Lands—I would have to stop their spread. The mistake made sixty years ago must be corrected once and for all, despite the fierce opposition of my new enemies.
