Andreas and Elena moved into a spacious home they filled with treasures from their many travels, while Venky moved to a far smaller two bedroom condominium that he left mostly untended. This initiated a series of events at Angeles Crest University that not even the wildest of psychics could have predicted.

Chaos theory describes the butterfly effect - how small actions at one place can lead to unpredictable disturbances later on elsewhere. As a butterfly flaps its wings somewhere in the world, that imperceptible action initiates a cascading sequence of events that create a tornado far removed and an ocean away.

Venky's duplicity and machinations would lead to many consequences. A wide cast of characters - university professors, students, alumni and staff and their families, a venture capitalist, a detective, a medical examiner, and a Reiki practitioner - would have to deal with the fallout.

As for a major consequence of the butterfly effect, was it murder? Whodunnit?
