Chitarlekha

Chitarlekha, written by Bhagwati Charan Verma in 1934, is a renowned novel of Hindi literature. It was later translated into Punjabi by Guwant Farag and published by the Language Department. The novel begins with the fundamental question, "What is sin?" and moves forward by portraying many scenes and narrating a series of events. Through its story, it explores philosophy, religion, society, love, relationships, and the ideas of virtue and sin.
